Post-Thanksgiving Musing: Why We’re So Thankful For You

Thank you to our Families for your love and generosity. You’ve been there every step of the way, not only fueling our growth but also challenging us when necessary.

Thank you to our Friends for being present and accepting, through highs and lows, good times and bad. With you by our side, we can take on the world.

Thank you to our Role Models for showing us what good and great can look like. Your achievements and passions help ignite ours.

Thank you to our Readers for your support and encouragement. We wouldn’t be here without you, and together we can grow stronger and wiser.

Thank you to our Muses for your honesty and authenticity. Your willingness to share your triumphs (and your tragedies) inspire us all to be brave and bold.

To all of you, your nuggets of wisdom have provided countless reprieves from life’s little anxieties and we are forever grateful for your insights. On that note, we’d like to share some of our favorites from our community.

I grew up being reminded daily that every day is a blessing from God. It is true, I have realized for myself that every day IS an opportunity to leave a positive impact on the world, and so it is up to me and each of us as individuals to look at the positives and push ourselves to remember how very blessed we are in every moment.

My favorite time of day is sunrise and the small time right before. You’re witnessing your day unfold. It’s a gift that’s never guaranteed, and you get to do with it what you want.

Midwifery has taught me that life is precious and forever ending and beginning, it has taught me to appreciate all I have and to make the most of this incredible life I have somehow been able to live.

My biggest piece of advice is to be grateful. Everyone has rough patches, but if you can find even just a small amount of love and gratitude in simple things over the course of a day, I really believe that manifests happiness in life!

+ THANK YOU AGAIN FOR BEING A PART OF THE BYOM COMMUNITY! LOVE, SARAH + KINSEY
